Acer Swift 5 seems to be the first laptop to be powered by the 11th-gen Intel Core processor. Acer announced the next generation Acer Swift 5 laptop at the Next@Acer event.
The laptop will be powered by the 11th-gen Intel Core i5 processor and feature the Nvidia MX350 GPU.
Acer Swift 5 Features
The Acer Swift 5 laptop comes with a 14-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen display with very narrow bezels all around. With the very small bezels, the laptop gets a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, which is great. The display could go up to 300 nits of peak brightness. To the top bezel, it gets an HD webcam.
Swift 5 is a compact and lightweight laptop that only weighs about 1KG. Something new in this laptop is the antimicrobial coating coated on the laptop.
The Acer Swift 5 laptop is powered by upcoming 11th-gen Intel Core CPUs. The next-generation Intel CPUs are based on the new Xe architecture. It is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD. As for the graphics side of things, the laptop comes with dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350.
Acer Swift 5 laptop draws its juice from a 56Wh battery that could provide up to 24 hours of battery backup (claim by the company). What’s more interesting is that it supports fast charging as well. With 30 minutes of charging, you could get up to 4 hours of battery backup.
For connectivity options, you get both Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 6. Ports on the laptop includes a USB Type-C Thunderbolt, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.
Acer Swift 5 Price
The Acer Swift 5 laptop comes in two color variants – Misty Green and Safari Gold and is priced at $999 in the US, which is approximately Rs.75,550 in India (Converted).
It will go on sale from October in the United States.
