Apple Music is now available on Samsung Smart TVs for the first time. Users will receive an update and following the update Apple Music support will be added to the smart TV. It is to be noted that Samsung is the first brand to come with Apple Music support. Once enabled, you can stream pretty much any music or content from Apple Music directly on your TV itself.
If you own a Samsung Smart TV launched in 2018 or later then you will get a new update in the coming days. Updating your Smart TV will make it Apple Music compatible. Once updated, users can head over to Samsung Smart TV App Store and search for Apple Music. You can sign in with your existing Apple ID or even create a new one and start a subscription from the TV itself.
If you have not registered for Apple Music yet then you will be eligible for 3 months free Apple Music subscription on individual, family, or student package.
A couple of days ago, Apple Music made its services available on 52 more countries. Now Apple Music is available on 175 countries all around the globe. Every content that is available in the Apple Music library will be accessible via the Apple Music app for Samsung smart TV.
It includes personalized ‘For you’ tab, popular radio stations like ‘Beats 1’ etc. You can find pretty much all playlists and tracks on the platform. Ever since Apple made the Apple TV App available on third party TVs, Samsung was the first to integrate the same to their lineup of Smart TVs. Similarly, another app from Apple, Apple Airplay 2 is also available on Samsung TV which lets you wirelessly send content to the TV screen without needing to connect to a set-top- box.
