After the launch of Honor 30S, Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro will be officially launched on the 15th of April 2020. The first smartphone in the Honor 30 series was launched yesterday with Kirin 820 5G chipset with support for dual-mode 5G.
Honor has officially announced the launch date on Weibo. A poster in which the phone’s brand ambassador is holding the same was posted by the company. Famous Chinese actor Li Xian is the brand ambassador. We can clearly see a silver-purple colored phone holding by him in the poster. Not many other details are available yet.
On the launch event, we expect at least two devices to be launched. And they might come with the latest Kirin 990 5G chipset onboard. Some key camera specifications were leaked online earlier.
Leaked Honor 30 Camera Specifications
As per the leaks by @OnLeaks we can expect a 50MP Sony IMX7xx sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning. If the leaks are to be believed then this camera hardware will be quite similar to that of the Huawei P40. Apart from the 50-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom are also expected to feature on the phone.
Earlier the Honor 30S was launched with a 64-megapixel camera and Kirin 820 chipset with dual-mode 5G support as well.
