Two months back, Huawei launched P40 Lite and now the company turned around launched an upgraded version of it with 5G support. The new phone in the P40 lineup is called Huawei P40 Lite 5G.
The new model includes various improvements in the camera system, chip, and bring 5G to the table.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is the rebranded version of Huawei Nova 7 SE which was launched last month in China.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G Features Specifications
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G comes with a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400. The display also gets HDR 10 support as well. To the front, the phone features a 16-megapixel camera (f/2.0) selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G octa-core SoC and is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
To the rear, the phone features a quad camera setup with 64-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel super macro lens and finally a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Right out of the box, P40 Lite 5G will come with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.
To the battery side of the thing, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G gets a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. But it is actually a downgrade from the original P40Lite with 4,200mAh battery.
The 40W fast charger could charge the device to 70% in just 30 minutes.
Other connectivity features include dual-band WiFi, 3.55mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC support and USB Type-C.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G Price and Availability
The device is available in three colors – Crush Green, Midnight Black, and Space Silver.
As for the prices, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G is priced at 400 Euros or approximately $430.
The device is available for pre-order now and will go on sale from May 29 across Europe.
