iPhone 12 Reportedly to Come Without Power Adapter, EarPods in Box

According to new reports surfacing online, Apple will ship iPhone 12 series without earpods and charging adapter included in the box. Yes, you heard it right, without the charger!

As per Noted analyst Kuo, the upcoming Apple iPhone will lack both Earpods as well as charging brick inside the box. Customers will be required to purchase both of these items separately.

The reason why Apple is planning to do this is that Apple want to make the iPhone 12 affordable to the users. If the reports are to be believed, Apple wants to keep the pricing of the iPhone 12 somewhere similar to that of the iPhone 11. But the cost of production of the iPhone 12 will be on the higher side since it comes with a 5G component inside.

Why is this move?

If Apple includes both the earpods and charging adapter along with the 5G enabled iPhone, it will be priced way too high. This might be the new move from Apple to reduce the price of the iPhone 12.

We had already seen reports suggesting that the iPhone 12 will support 20W fast charging. For years, Apple was using the exact same 5W charger. This is something that Apple should have fixed a while ago. But last year, the company introduced 18W fast charger with both iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. No other iPhone comes with a fast charger included in the box.

Now onwards, customers will be required to purchase a 20W fast charger separately to charge their iPhones. iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Mini will retain its 12W adapter.

A Lightning to USB Type-C cable will be the only accessory include in the iPhone 12 box.

There are no official confirmation regarding the same. It is expected that Apple introduces iPhone 12 series in September this year without any delay. Let’s see.
