It’s been almost 4 months since we started hearing about a gaming smartphone from Lenovo under Legion branding. Folks at XDA managed to get access to an unreleased teaser video that reveals some key specifications of the device.
Legion is Lenovo’s gaming division that currently has a good number of gaming laptops, gaming desktop, and gaming accessories. Now, the company is planning to level up the game by getting into the gaming smartphone industry.
As per the sources, the upcoming Legion branded gaming smartphone might be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. From the unreleased teaser video, it shows the entire design of the device with a unique radical design touch.
It was already confirmed that it will come with 90W wired charging which is capable of charging the smartphone from 0 to 100 percent in a matter of just 30 minutes. Lenovo doesn’t seem to compromise on the battery side of things. The device is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery.
As for the selfie camera, the phone might feature a motorized pop-up selfie camera, which could be seen from the images and teaser video. It is more likely to feature a 20MP sensor.
One thing to be noted is the rear camera placement. The camera is placed to the center of the rear side along with flash. As it is a gaming smartphone, the phone will be held horizontally, that might be the reason why the camera is having such a weird position. It is believed to be a 64MP main sensor along with a 16MP ultrawide angle camera.
The phone will also come with not one but two USB Type-C port. There will be two stereo speakers for immersive sound experience while gaming as well.
Other miscellaneous features include a UFS 3.0 internal storage, LPDDR5 RAM, and screen refresh rate of about 144Hz for the smooth gaming experience. It will come with Android 10 topped with LegionOS
