Xiaomi has released a new smartphone to the premium flagship segment in India. The company today announced the Mi 10 in India and starts at Rs. 49,999. This phone will compete against flagship smartphones from Realme and OnePlus.
This is after a very long time that Xiaomi is launching a Mi branded smartphone in India. It was in 2017 that Xiaomi launched Mi Mix 2 in India and ever since no phone came in Mi branding.
It is to be noted that only the Mi 10 is launched in India and not the Mi 10 Pro. The new smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer comes with a 108MP rear camera, 30W Wireless charging, Flagship level Snapdragon chip, and a lot more.
Mi 10 Specifications and Features
Let’s start with the main attraction here, the display itself. The phone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the screen is 2340 x 1080 pixels and comes with a 20MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout.
When it comes to the internals, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with dual-mode 5G support. To enable dual-mode 5G, the processor has the X55 modem integrated into it. The handset has up to 8GB of LPPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage as well.
Mi 10 draws its juice from a 4,780mAh battery with support for 30W super-fast wireless charging and 30W wired charging. The 30W turbo adapter is included in the box.
To the rear, Mi 10 gets a quad-camera setup array aligned vertically. The main sensor here is the much-hyped 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor with OIS support. Apart from the main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor are included as well.
Mi 10 also supports reverse wireless charging to charge other devices.
