Initially, Xiaomi planned to launch Mi 10 in India by the end of March. But due to the nationwide lockdown, it was later postponed to another date. Now Xiaomi has officially unveiled the launch date via Twitter.
As per the tweet by Mi India’s official Twitter handle, the phone will be launch in India on May 8 via an online-only event.
The Mi 10 series which includes the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro was launched in China back in February. The handset comes with an incredible 108MP camera, flagship-level Snapdragon 865 SoC, and a lot more.

Here is the full specification of the Mi 10.
The Mi 10 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the display is 2340 x 1080 pixels and comes with a 180Hz touch refresh rate.
When it comes to the internals, Mi 10 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
To handle the high-temperatures, the phones also come with liquid cooling plates, vapor chambers, and graphite sheets.
To the front, the device comes with a 20MP selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout. The selfie shooter could shoot up to 120fps slow-motion videos.
To the back, the device gets the much-hyped quad-camera setup with 108MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle camera with 123-degree field of view, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera could record 8K videos at 24 fps.
Mi 10 runs on Android 10 topped with MIUI 11 right out of the box. The device draws its juice from the 4,780mAh battery with 30W wired and 30W wireless charging support. One more thing that makes Mi 10 worth checking is the 10W reverse wireless charging support.
As for prices, there are no details regarding the same. Anyways let’s see it on the 8th of May.
