MIUI 12 was launched in China last month. It came along with the Mi 10 Zoom Edition smartphone. The official stable rollout will start by the end of June.
As of now, the company has not released the global version of MIUI 12 yet. But closed beta updates are being pushed to people who registered for the same.
Xiaomi has started recruiting users for its new MIUI 12 Pilot Testing Program. Initially, it will be only available to a few selected models of the device. The program registration is now live and open for Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro users in India.
Xiaomi on Mi Forum announced that they are looking for people to join the MIUI 12 Pilot Testing program. Selected users will be given the pre-release version of MIUI 12 for the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
In order to get into the MIUI 12 Pilot Testing program, you need to fill in a Google Form with details like your email and the country you are from, etc.
Other than your email address and country, you are also required to submit other details like the device you own, the screenshot of the phone’s about section, Telegram ID, etc.
The last date to join the program is the 15th of May, at 9 PM IST.
As of now, the Redmi K20 Series is only eligible for this program in India. Global users with Mi 9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro could also apply for the program.
Xiaomi will be pushing unreleased beta build of the ROM, so there are chances that it might contain bugs or some issues. It is not recommended that you install the ROM in your device if it is your daily driver.
