Motorola Edge+ with waterfall display was all set to launch at MWC 2020. But, as the event was called off due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the company is forced to do an online-only launch event for the same device. Motorola has officially announced the launch date for Motorola Edge+ on its twitter handle. As per the tweet, it will be launched in an online-only event on 22nd April 2020.
We have been hearing a lot of rumors that Motorola is working on a flagship device that competes against the OnePlus 8, Realme X50. The device will feature a 108MP camera and a waterfall display.
The short teaser posted by Motorola shows some key design features like the waterfall display, punch hole front camera and a lot more.

Expected Motorola Edge+ Specifications
Motorola Edge+ is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 2340×1080 resolution. The display is said to be a 90Hz refresh rate enabled panel for a smooth experience and is the current industry standard. Another highlight is the waterfall display. From the teaser, we could see the display edged towards both sides giving us a nice waterfall display look. It is rumored that the device will feature a massive 5,000 mAh battery which is capable of providing plenty of juice for long time usage.
When it comes to the internals, Egde+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 for sure. There might be two versions with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
To the camera side of things, the highlight is, of course, the 108M primary camera sensor. Motorola Edge+ is expected to feature a triple camera setup with the main 108MP sensor, 16MP ultra-wide angle camera and finally an 8MP telephoto lens. To the front, it features a 25MP selfie camera housed on a hole punch cutout to the top left corner.
The device is also expected to have 5G connectivity onboard and competes against the OnePlus 8 (all set to launch today) and recently launched Realme X50. So the expected pricing is somewhere around Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 45,000 price bracket.
