It’s finally official – OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are now getting the all-new OxygenOS 11 update. The new OxygenOS 11 update is based on the latest Android 11 version. About a month ago, Google had already announced that OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be getting the Android 11 update, and fast forward a month, it’s here.
As per the reports, the size of the new update will be somewhere around 2.8GB in size. Users are advised to make sure to keep at least 3 GB of storage free before starting the update process. Also, make sure to have a minimum of 30 percent battery charge left on your phone as well.
There are tons of new visually appealing features coming to OnePlus devices with the new update. Apart from the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, there are some other devices from OnePlus that will receive the new OxygeOS 11 update.

Starting from today, users will see a new update notification on their phone or just go to update settings to see if the update has arrived or not. Initially, the update will only be open to a small number of people, once everything is set and no major bugs are reported, OnePlus will roll out the update to the masses and everyone could install it ASAP.
The new OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11 comes with many new features primarily targetted for game mode on the phone. As seen from the beta, there’s the new fresh home UI, app icons, and much better dark mode as well.
Now you can easily schedule dark mode from Sunset to Sunrise and misc features like this. Weather App UI has also gotten much better with this update.
Other OnePlus smartphone users should wait some more time for the update to rollout.
