Pretty much everything about the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro including the specifications, Camera details, display, etc were leaked earlier. One thing that no one know was the pricing. An online tipster has thrown some light on it and one thing is sure, it’s crazy expensive.
An online tipster shared the details of the pricing of OnePlus 8 and One Plus 8 Pro via WinFuture.de website. As per the tipster, it is the official pricing details for all OnePlus 8 series phones. If this pricing is to be believed then OnePlus longer suits the ‘Budget Flagship’ tag.
Here is the pricing as per the leaked source:
- OnePlus 8 (8GB + 128GB) – 719 Euros/ 729 Euros ~ (around Rs. 59,250)
- OnePlus 8 (12GB + 256GB) – 819 Euros/ 829 Euros ~ (around Rs. 67,500)
- OnePlus 8 Pro (8GB + 128GB) – 919 Euros/ 929 Euros ~ (around Rs. 75,900)
- OnePlus 8 Pro (12GB + 256GB) – 1009 Euros/ 1019 Euros ~ (around Rs. 83,250)
As per the leaks, the base variant of OnePlus 8 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage starts at 719 Euros which is approximately Rs. 59,250. The top end variant of OnePlus 8 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 819 Euros or approximately Rs. 67,500, this is for the OnePlus 8. When it comes to the OnePlus 8 Pro, the base variant is priced at 919 Euros or Rs. 75,900 and top end variant of OnePlus 8 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage is priced at a whopping 819 Euros which is approximately Rs. 83,250 in India.
Te recall, last year’s OnePlus 7T was priced at Rs. 36,000 and the OnePlus 7T Pro was priced at Rs. 53,000 only. This time the phone is priced at a very high tag than the usual pattern.
OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau had already confirmed that the company’s flagship won’t go above $1000 anytime soon.

Few reasons for the higher prices might be the new GST rate hike for smartphones from 12% to 18% [50% increase], much expensive Snapdragon 865 processor, 5G connectivity, IP Rating, Wireless Charging, etc.
Anyways, let’s wait till April 14th to know the exact pricing of both these devices. One thing is for sure, the pricing will be on the higher side than the usual.
