OnePlus has started gradually resuming its services in some parts of the country. After May 3rd, the government made some relaxation to the lockdown. Depending on the number of coronavirus cases and severity, the government divided places as Green, Orange, and Red zones.
Now OnePlus device can be ordered and shipped to places marked in the Green and Orange zone. Users could place orders for the products via Amazon.in and OnePlus.in website.
As of now, the company has only made smartphones and TVs available. Even though it is mentioned they are restarting the services in Green and Orange Zones, not all places will be covered. Upon checking I was not able to find the product deliverable to my location which is in the Green Zone.
At the time of writing the article, it was showing ‘Out of Stock’ on many green and orange zones. Users might want to wait for a couple of hours until it gets back into the track. You could click on the “Notify Me” button to get notified once the product becomes available.
“As a company, we will continue to follow government directives in terms of both sales and manufacturing in India. Accordingly, we are gradually re-opening standalone stores in green and orange zones while Amazon.in and oneplus.in will resume sales in these areas as well. On manufacturing, we will resume production once the MHA provides the green signal. Meanwhile, we urge our employees and others to continue to practice caution and stay safe,” said OnePlus in a statement.
OnePlus devices that are currently up for sale include the OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7 Pro, etc and OnePlus TV Q1 as well.
OnePlus will later expand the services to more orange and green zones as well as other regions where lockdown relaxations apply.
Apart from the OnePlus store and Amazon, some devices are up for sale on Flipkart as well.
