PUBG is the first game in Stadia to get the Click to Play feature. For starters, this feature will let users launch the game immediately without needing to visit the homepage. Clicking on the link will directly open the game bypassing the home screen.
You can click on the link below to open the game without visiting the Stadia homepage. Do note that the Click to Play feature is exclusive to Stadia Pro Subscribers only.
Stadia will also get cross-play support. With this, you could easily play with other players on different gaming consoles.
Google wants to make cloud gaming more accessible and Click to Play is an example of the same. You could simply click on a game link and instantly open the game in Stadia. That’s how simple things are.
Stadia will also get support for a few more games in the coming days and the list includes EA Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, FIFA, and Madden NFL, as well as Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler. The exact roll-out date is not yet confirmed. They are expected to arrive on the Google Cloud Gaming Platform by fall 2020.
