Realme on Thursday announced that the company currently has 3.5 crore users globally. Realme launched it’s first-ever smartphone Realme 1 in May 2018. Following that, the company hit the market like a storm.
A couple of days back, Realme completed 2 years anniversary and this milestone comes a few days after it.
As per the company, they have about 2.1 crore users in India and about 1.4 crore users outside India. Realme smartphone is currently being sold in a number of other markets outside India including China, Russia, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, etc. Globally they have their footprints on 27 markets.
The milestone achievement was shared by Realme in a Weibo post. In the post, the company claims that it crossed 3.5 crore users globally. Do note that the number includes all the phone ever sold on every one of these 27 markets.
Now Realme has a good market share in the mid-level and entry-level smartphone segments in India.
What’s more interesting is that the company managed to add roughly 1.8 crore users in the last seven months alone, which is actually double the number of Realme users globally.
On May 25, the company is also planning to unveil a couple of products including a new smartphone codenamed ‘Blade Runner. Not many details about the phone are revealed yet.
Apart from the smartphone, the company is all set to introduce at least 8 products on May 25th alone. It might include a new smartphone, power bank, and even an Earbuds as well.
A couple of days ago, Realme shared a photo of the ‘Blade Runner’ codenamed smartphone. As per the image, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup. Other than this nothing is known for now. Realme fans will have to wait until the 25th of May to see all the 8 products including this particular smartphone.
