After teasing about the watch for some time now, Realme has finally launched the Realme Watch in India today.
Realme Watch comes with some cool features including a new 1.4-inch color display, 14 sport modes, music controls, etc. The watch runs on a proprietary OS from Realme.
Realme Watch Features
Realme Watch sports a 1.4-inch TFT LCD display with a screen resolution of 320 x 320. The screen has a peak brightness level of 380 nits. Below the display, a Realme logo can be spotted. The display is Gorilla Glass 3 protected.
The Watch only gets a single button to control it physically. It comes with a metallic finish and is built with polycarbonate. The Realme Watch is IP68 water and dust resistant.
It comes equipped with a 160mAh battery promising up to seven days of battery life. With the built-in power saver mode, users could extend the life up to 20 days.
First and foremost, the Realme Watch is not powered by Android. The company is using its own OS for the Watch. The majority of other watches come with Google WearOS which is not the case here. The OS is feature-packed and comes with support for WhatsApp and a host of other apps.
Do note that the Realme Watch does not have a speaker or microphone, for the same reason you cannot pick calls with the watch.
As of now, there about 12 watch faces. But the company is planning to add at least 100 watch faces with upcoming OTA updates.
The watch gets about 14 different sports modes. Outdoor Run, Walk, Indoor Run, Outdoor Cycle, Aerobic Capacity, Strength Training, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Indoor Cycle, Elliptical machine, Yoga, and Cricket are few of them.
As the watch comes with a PPG sensor, it allows you to monitor heart rate, sleep, and blood oxygen saturation level.
Realme Watch Price in India
Realme Watch is priced at Rs. 3,999 in India and comes with straps in different colors – Green, Red, Balck, and Blue. Watch straps costs another Rs. 499.
