In an online event today, Realme has announced the Realme X3 SuperZoom and starts at €499. The new phone gets last year’s Snapdragon 855+ processor, camera improvements, and design-wise changes also.
Realme X3 SuperZoom Features and Specifications
When compared with the Realme X2 Pro which was launched last year, there are some changes.
Realme X3 SuperZoom features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD 120Hz display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400. The aspect ratio of the screen is 20:9 and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well. While comparing the same with X2 Pro, it kind of looks like a downgrade from AMOLED to LCD.
The phone is powered by the last year’s flagship processor, Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDRR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 onboard storage.
For the optics side of things, the phone sports a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8MP periscope camera (5x optical zoom, and 60x hybrid zoom), and a 2MP macro lens.
To the front, the phone gets a dual selfie camera setup. The first one is a 32MP primary camera and the second is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
As it is having an AMOLED screen, the fingerprint scanner is now mounted on to the power button. The phone also gets a new sleek gradient design as well.
Only one variant of the phone is available now in 12GB + 256GB configuration.
Realme X3 SuperZoom draws its juice from a 4,200mAh battery with support for 30W Dart charging.
In the Realme X2 Pro from last year, it had support for the 50W SuperVOOC charge, which is again a downgrade to keep the price in point.
Realme X3 SuperZoom Price
Realme X3 SuperZoom is only available in a single configuration and is priced at €499. It gets 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Details regarding the India launch of the device is not yet available.
