Xiaomi launched 22 products including the Redmi Band in one go during the 10th-anniversary celebration in China last week. In the event, they also introduced a new fitness band under the Redmi branding and is named Redmi Band.
According to a tweet by a tipster, @stufflistings, Redmi Band reportedly gets BIS Certifications. For starters, BIS Certifications are necessary to launch a product in India. If this is to be believed then Xiaomi might soon launch Redmi Band in the Indian market and make it available to everyone.
Here’s something interesting. The Redmi Band has already received the BIS certification (now the Bluetooth SIG certification as well). Turns out the first-ever fitness tracker from Redmi will certainly launch in India soon.#Xiaomi #Redmi #RedmiBand pic.twitter.com/R9n4VKyetZ

In short, Redmi Band is a fitness tracker similar to the Realme Band and Honor Band. It features a 1.08-inch LCD Touch Screen Display, which is a color display. When it comes to customizations, you get up to 70 different band faces to select from. Some other features include an optical heart rate sensor and offer up to 14-day battery life in a single charge.
The fitness band from Xiaomi also comes with 5 sports mode and band is rated up to 5 ATM water resistance, which means you can go swimming in the pool and other water splashes won’t be a problem at all. The band is available in 4 colors including Balck, Red, Brown, and Blue.
The Indian pricing of the Redmi Band is not clear yet. Even the company hasn’t announced anything officially. Redmi Band will compete against Realme Band which as launched earlier in India. Realme Band costs around Rs. 1500, so we can expect the pricing of Redmi Band to be somewhere around Rs. 1,500 itself. Redmi Band’s price in China is CNY 99.
