Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy S20 FE Edition smartphone today on a live event. We have been hearing lots and lots of rumors regarding the phone and finally, it’s here.
There are tons of things that make the S20 FE more exciting. Firstly, it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display, and second, it comes with a 4,500mAh battery. It also looks a little like the earlier launched Galaxy Note 20 series.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Edition Specs
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Display. The main highlight here is the fact it comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch response rate if 240Hz. The display is fully flat and not a curved one. The pixel-resolution of the display is 2400 x 1080 and comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
To the back, the phone features a triple camera setup. The back of the phone looks like the Note 20 series. The camera placement on the S20 FE is almost similar to that of the Note 20 series. The three sensors are a 12MP primary shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and finally an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 30x Space Zoom. To the front, it gets a 32MP selfie shooter as well.
When it comes to the internals, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC and is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of Internet storage. The phone comes with dual-mode 5G. Apart from the 5G variant, an LTE version of the phone is also expected.
The phone is IP68 Water and dust protection rated. It gets a massive 4,500mAh battery. The device supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. A reverse wireless charging feature is also included as well.
As far as the OS is concerned, it runs on OneUI 2.0 on top of Android 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Edition is priced at $699 which is roughly Rs. 51,500 here in India.
The phone will go on sale from 2nd of October.
