Apple has today announced the Apple Watch Series 6 with improved features and a much more affordable Apple Watch SE that starts at around $279.
Let’s take a look at Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE features and what it has to offer.
Apple Watch Series 6
Design-wise there are no many changes except for the minor changes on the crown. The new watch is powered by the new S6 chip based on the A13 Bionic chipset. Series 6 watches are said to be 20 percent faster than the previous generation.
Another important highlight is the new sensors to the back of the Apple Watch. These sensors can now measure blood oxygen levels. The sensor will also work in the background and take reading even while you are sleeping at night.
Another interesting change is on the strap side of things. Apple Watch Series 6 comes with a new watchband called “Solo Loop”. The specialty of the new band is the fact that it does not overlap with each other and looks messy. Instead, it is one simple band that you need to select according to your hand size, and you are done.
Apple Watch Series 6 also gets tons of new watch faces as well. The Memoji watch face is the highlighted one of all. You can create customized watch faces with your face through Memoji.
Apple Watch Series 6 is priced at $399.
Apple Watch SE
For the first time ever Apple introduced a much affordable Apple Watch SE. If you are tight on budget then Apple Watch SE is the one to go with.
When it comes to internals of the Apple Watch SE, the watch comes with the same processor featured in Apple Watch Series 5. The design and features remain almost the same. Some exclusive features like ECG, etc are not available in the SE version of the Apple Watch.
Apple Watch SE starts at $279 and is a little expensive than the Series 3.
