Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 9 series. The company posted a poster on Twitter and the device will be unveiled on an online-only event on the 30th of April. Earlier, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max were released in March. Now it’s time for the Redmi Note 9.
The handset will be introduced via an online-only event on the 30th of April, 2020. You can watch the live stream from 20:00 GMT+8. There have been lots of rumors about the Redmi Note 9 and a handful of other products that Xiaomi might introduce in the event. As per some reports, the company might introduce some other devices like Robot vacuum, TV Stick, etc.

Rumored Specs of Redmi Note 9
Redmi Note 9 is expected to come with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout for the front selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone is about to be powered by an unannounced MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It will be coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
To the rear side, it might feature a quad-camera setup with 48-megapixel primary camera and another lens for ultra-wide and macro. To the back, you might also find a physical fingerprint scanner. A battery with an approximate capacity of 5,000mAh is also expected.
The phone will be named as Redmi Note 10X in China. MIUI will be announced on the 27th of April and the phone might ship with MIUI 12 right out of the box. There are chances that the company might unveil the device on 27th April in China during the MIUI 12 launch event and then the Global launch on the 30th of April.
