The Sony PlayStation 5 event was earlier scheduled for June 4 but the company has confirmed that the event will be delayed even further. Users have been all waiting for Sony to come up with the event date and finally, it did a couple of days back. Users were thrilled to see new content on the 4th of June but sadly we won't see anything until a new date is announced by the company. In the light of protests happening in the US, Sony decided to postpone the event and schedule it for a later date. A few days back, Google also postponed the Android 11 beta launch for the same reason as well. Sony took it to Twitter to announce the same. Sony tweeted, "We have decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event scheduled for June 4. While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration, and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard." https:\/\/twitter.com\/PlayStation\/status\/1267525525825900549 With this event, Sony is planning to introduce new games and other content for PlayStation 5. But it still not sure if the company will announce PlayStation 5 in the event. Sony has not revealed any other information. We will have to wait for the company to announce a new event date after the protests settle. As you might already know, protests for George Floyd are going on in the US, and Sony wants it to be more vocal. The company is not interested in letting other news spread as it wants this news to be heard. For the same reason, Spotify has also taken some measures as well. Spotify is about to add 8:46 minute moment of silence to playlists and podcasts in honor of George Floyd.
